IT Senior Field Support Analyst

Location:              Estevan 

Job Overview:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing operational support for Kingston Midstream’s corporate and SCADA/ICS environments.  This field support role will be exposed to all facets of IT operations which expands across all technical functions within the IT organization.  The incumbent will provide support of end user computing devices, meeting room technologies, Office 365 services, servers, networks, IT security and field communications. 

 Position Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, administer and troubleshoot a wide range of desktop hardware and software
  • Perform on-site and/or remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex technology problems and recommend and implement corrective solutions
  • Provide support for Office 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support critical technology, including field communications
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure, Control Center Operations and vendors to support the SCADA/ICS environment
  • Follow and promote IT standards, policies and procedures
  • Support critical services through 7X24 on-call rotation
  • Travel expectation: Travel to field sites within Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related IT discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience in IT Systems, support, deployment, and associated functions
  • Strong client computing experience, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices (Blackberry/iPhone/Android etc.), multifunction devices, desktop phones, voicemail
  • Knowledge of Office 365 with a focus on Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols and services including routing, switching, TCP/IP, MPLS, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN
  • Strong verbal and written communications; must be able to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skills
  • Works well under pressure and time constraints and can prioritize competing priorities appropriately
  • Ability to self-manage, self-motivate and have the eagerness to learn comfortable working in a high performing, team-oriented, dynamic and evolving IT team environment
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to our field office

The following skills would be an asset:

  • Experience supporting field operations, specifically PLC, SCADA/ICS, radio and wireless communications
  • Experience support Cisco Telephone System (CUCM, Cisco CallManager)
  • ITIL Foundations certification
