Job Overview

The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the economic and planning requirements of Kingston Midstream.  The individual will utilize economic, commercial, and financial knowledge to support and contribute to strategic decision making as it relates to infrastructure development, operations and commercial activities within the Company.

Position Responsibilities  

  • Accountable for providing financial analysis and other analytical support on all M&A and Greenfield activities including the creation and maintenance of full financial models;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop KPIs, maintain and create financial dashboards;
  • Develop complex financial models to support business development initiatives;
  • Produce documents outlining your findings, recommendations and actions;
  • Produce engaging presentations and reports;
  • Support the annual planning and budgeting process by developing tools to forecast revenue and costs;
  • Participate in the development and support of the companies immediate and long-term strategies;
  • Support the due diligence and integration aspects of transactions;
  • Accountable for delivering accurate analyses of corporate impacts of investment decisions;
  • Accountable for performing ad hoc analysis, including the creation of financial models and analysis of business trends to support the growth of the business;
  • Perform market research, financial modelling, and economic analysis to support business objectives;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the annual operating budgets and the development of the weekly and yearly forecasts

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post- secondary education in Accounting or Finance with a CPA, MBA or CFA designation
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related discipline
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organization skills
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint and analytical tools
  • Ability to work through large volumes of information to provide in depth analysis and results
  • Deliver engaging and influential presentations
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
